Animal Feed Supplement with Amino Acids


Amino acids are organic compounds that contain amine and carboxyl functional groups, along with a side chain specific to each amino acid. The key elements of an amino acid are carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen, although other elements are found in the side chains of certain amino acids. 

The foods in the following list are the most common sources of essential amino acids:
Lysine is in meat, eggs, soy, black beans, quinoa, and pumpkin seeds.
Meat, fish, poultry, nuts, seeds, and whole grains contain large amounts of histidine.
Cottage cheese and wheat germ contain high quantities of threonine.

Amino acids can be placed in three different groups: Nonessential amino acids: These are produced naturally by your body and have nothing to do with the food you eat.

Conditional amino acids include:
Arginine.
Cysteine.
Glutamine.
Tyrosine.
Glycine.
Ornithine.
Proline.
Serine.

Good sources: Eggs, turkey, lamb, soy, watercress, seaweed, beans, spinach, legumes, broccoli, sesame seeds, hemp seeds, chia seeds, soy, peanuts, whole grains, figs, avocado, apples, sprouted grains and seeds, blueberries, cranberries, oranges and apricots.
